Work at height or in depth Instruction in accordance with PPE against fall DGUV rule 112-198 and 112-199 Instruction in the safe handling and use of Personal Fall Protection Equipment. Qualification of the participants  in the selection and safe application of all protection equipment, observing the legal requirements. Practice different methods of rescue of a victim from height or depth. Trainees receive instruction in theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in risk assesment, initiation and execution of rescue operations. Focus is gaining practical experience in rescue operations under circumstances closely related to real danger areas. Participants will receive a formal certificate upon successful completion of the seminar. Training contents Juridical basis DGUV rule 112-198 and 112-199 Basics of fall dynamics, fall factor and deceleration shock Innovations in the work-safety concepts for workplaces at height Knowledge of materials and components used Checking and preparing your fall protection equipment Correct utilization of your fall protection equipment Selection of anchor points to EN 795 Fall victim rescue from ladder Fall victim rescue from height Multiple scenario’s incorporating 2 or more above-mentioned aspects Pre-conditions Passing of medical examination (for Federal Republic Germany BG-Grundsatz G41) “working under fall endangered conditions” Valid first aid certificate ( maximum 24 months old) Duration Basic training:  2 days with 8 units Refresher:          1 day with 8 units
Instruction for technical experts As per DGUV rule 312-906 In this module participants will receive the training required to become an expert in inspection of personal fall protection equipment. Trainees receive comprehensive information on the legal requirements and the requirements of the trade associations (applicable in the Federal Republic Germany) as well as the European certification (EN-Standards). Inspection procedures are practiced on sample devices, components and materials. Graduates have acquired the necessary knowledge and skills to inspect and release for service all component parts of a fallarrest system through visual and functional inspection. Each inspection will be recorded by the expert in writing or digital format. Not included in the instuction nor the certification of the expert: Descent and rescue devices and fall arrest devices! Training contents Evaluation, selection, storage, maintenance, authorized use, identification of fall protection equipment Duties and reponsibilities of an expert Manufacturers’ user guides, significance and special attention Areas of application Anchor points Expert inspection Duration Basic training:   2 days with 8 units each
Confined Spaces DGUV rule 113-004 This training has been conceived for persons working in confined spaces. All the safety considerations and elements to perform tasks in confined or closed spaces are presented. Rescue techniques and procedures in accordance with DGUV item 313-002 and item 113-004 are part of the instruction material. This training is especially recommended for service technicians in the on- and offshore windindustry because coping with maximum stress situations is practiced very intensively. Training contents Applicable law and regulations Definition of confined and closed spaces Risk assesment and environmental dangers and recognition of gases Equipment for work in confined and closed spaces Personal protective equipment indicated Permits to execute work procedures in confined and closed spaces Methods of communication and access Safe entry and exit Rescue procedures Duration  Basic training:  1 day with 8 units
On- und Offshore instructions Training centre Cuxhaven In the training centre “Offshore Safety-Trainingscenter” (O.S.T.) Cuxhaven we present with our partners to those employed in the windenergy sector a highly professional and dedicated  education, covering all legal and safety related issues pertaining to the industry. All excercises take place under very realistic simulation to ascertain that your staff receive the confidence and stature required for safety in the day to day work and to master sudden calamities when they occur.
